Applications are invited for the post of Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

The Paediatric Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn prides it self on being a very caring supportive department.

The Consultants always work as part of the team and are readily available to give advice, practical assistance and hands on acute care.

There is a full tier of middle-grade doctors. The department has a very good teaching programme particularly aimed at the paediatric membership. All junior doctors take part in the teaching programme.

Subspecialty training is strongly encouraged and supported in our department. Interest in the following would complement the department: oncology, nephrology, gastroenterology or cardiology. There may be the possibility being able to gain tertiary hospital experience within the job plan.

At least one of your referees must be your current/most recent employer. We require references to cover 3 years employment history (unless just leaving education).

If you haven’t worked for three years or more you should provide us with a reference from your most recent employers; where this isn’t possible we will accept references from someone of sufficient standing within your community who knows you, such as a doctor, solicitor, MP, religious leader/minister.

Applicants who are in, or have just left full time education and have never worked should obtain references from a lecturer or teacher within the educational establishment attended.
