Rail

Jacobs provides a full passenger and freight consultancy service to the rail sector from its network of offices across the UK . The comprehensive range of services available covers the complete spectrum of railway infrastructure requirements such as station platforms and buildings, depots, bridges, tunnels and trackside structures. You will be involved in project development, preliminary appraisal and feasibility studies through to detailed design, implementation and operational management advice.

You will hold, or be working towards, an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering, 2(i) or above (or equivalent). Relevant work experience would also be advantageous although not essential. Working in a project based environment you will have developed a clear communication style, have proven team working skills and demonstrate a strong customer focus. The ability to produce well presented reports is also desirable.

Training and Experience LOVE YOUR JOB

As well as our ICE accredited training programme which will help you to achieve professional status, you will be supported by a trained mentor to complete our 3 year graduate portfolio.

Supported through a range of internal and external training courses your programme will consist of 12 key skills including project management, financial management, contractual awareness, health & safety and environmental awareness.
