My client is a leading insurance business based in London. They are looking for an Operations/ Project manager with strong experience in dealing with risk management and actuarial teams. The Operations/Project Managers ‘main duties will include the ability to plan and co-ordinate risk activity between the RMA and other internal teams. Furthermore the Operation/ project manager will be required to formulate the finding of the processes team while being able share this information with the Board and Product heads. The Project/Operations Manager in addition to this should have strong experience in developing and implementing information systems for risk. This will include the following areas.

  • Accumulation information from cat risk management and other teams
  • External data sources
  • Underwriting risk MI
  • Data for Quarterly risk review processes
  • Solvency 2
The Operational/ Project Manger should have a good academic background. Strong insurance experience is also important coupled with a firm grasp of regulatory and solvency 2 knowledge. Project Management or operational management experience is essential in this role.

Finally the Operations Project manager should have excellent written and verbal skills while also being able to demonstrate good organisation ability.
