To support our expansion and development the Property Department is looking for two highly organised and enthusiastic individuals to provide administrative support and maintain the smooth running of the Dagenham Property Office.
There are two vacancies, one is permanent, the other is a fixed term contract until December 2013. Both positions offer responsibility and variety, within a department that is at the forefront of Lidl UK's growth and development. Initial training for these roles is likely to take place in our Morden Property Office, however once the training period is complete these roles will be permanently based in Dagenham, therefore the successful candidates must be able to travel to both sites.
Managing diaries and coordinating meetings with internal departments as well as external businesses and organisations, you will prepare reports and liaise with other regional property offices, the head office property team and external consultants. You will help the regional property team with ad hoc tasks and give administrative support on various new build, refurbishment and extension projects. Managing telephone, email and postal enquiries you should be an excellent audio and copy typist, with a minimum of 50 wpm.
With excellent spoken and written English you must be experienced in secretarial and administrative duties and being PC literate, you will have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Conscientious with an outstanding eye for detail you will have a flair for communicating and organising, supported by excellent literacy and numeracy skills. A team player who is capable of performing tasks independently and to your own initiative, you should be highly motivated and proactive.
