My client provides turnkey rental solutions for temporary multi-MW power plants anywhere in the world. Their unique expertise is based on years of experience supplying complete innovative rental packages for all of their customers’ utility requirements.
An electrical engineer is required for my client’s International Projects business.
Main duties and responsibilities: Accountable for the electrical performance of all international power plants.
Ensures smooth, cost-efficient and high quality electrical performance of power plants
Ensures sign off of the site readiness
Performs commissioning of power plants
Acting as trouble shooter, in support of the Power Plant (Site) Managers. Include local hands-on support.
Provides advanced electrical knowledge & support
Solves electrical problems
Supports technical & commercial feasibilities of commercial tenders
Ensures knowledge of all Site Managers is up-to-date
Defines lessons learned and improvements plans
Essential criteria: Flexibility to travel extensively (up to 75%)
Relevant experience in power generation environment
Experience with generators and fault finding
Fluent in English.
IT literate (Autocad, MS office)
Certified for site commissioning
Excellent communication skills
Pro active & team player
Hard working and flexible
Desirable criteria: Graduate in electrical engineering, French and/or Spanish are a plus. Experience on the Woodward EGCPII and DEIF AGC3 control panels
Responsible to: Reports to the Operations Manager, International Projects
Responsible for: Is there a relocation package: Is the employee fully expensed when away: Yes and the hardship package will be explained at interview stage.
