SAP Service Delivery Manager| UK| Up to £75,000 basic + excellent company benefits (DOE)

SAP Service Delivery Manager required for a rapidly expanding UK-based consultancy. This role will have you focused on managing service delivery of a medium to small complexity into one or more customer accounts. The customer relationship will typically be at senior management level and the contract will include resource management (Typically consisting of 20+ people either directly or indirectly), cost control (Typically accountable for a cost budget of £2 million to £8 million), achievement of productivity improvements, and achievement of the account growth plan as agreed in the account roadmap.

To be considered for the Service Delivery Manager position candidates must have the following:
• Innovating and improving productivity.
• Knowledge of the SAP service offering portfolio
• Ability to translate customer requirement to my clients offerings, solutions or services
• Ability to sell and consequently, grow the account
• A passion for working with people and the ability to quickly build rapport.
• The ability to identify opportunities to delight and exceed customer expectations
• Ability to deal and influence senior management within customer organisations
• Able to confidently manage the client, the internal delivery teams and grow the account through new sales
• Able to direct and influence through thought leadership, and follow through with the opportunity development
• Experience in Local Government or Public Sector service delivery management
• In depth knowledge of SAP products and application architecture
• Experience of SAP solution delivery, SAP solution support or SAP solution management
• Familiar with ITIL best practices
Service Delivery Manager Responsibilities:
• Leads service delivery to customer(s) in order to deliver contracted service commitments and continual service improvements (typically to senior level). Act as primary point of contact and accountable for day to day service delivery.
• Actively owns service risks and issues, controls service costs, and improves productivity of high complexity contracts for customers in order to increase profitability and continually improve cost effectiveness.
• Regular contributor and innovator to the continual improvement of service delivery standards and practices for the customer contract and community
• Delivery Management, providing reliable service, meeting SLAs and achieving transformation targets.
• Client relationship management, building and maintaining strong client relationships, participating in client meetings regarding performance to ensure client satisfaction.
• Financial Management, actively manage contract financial performance to meet financial objectives; ensuring planned profit margins are achieved.
• Contract Profit Improvement, ensure opportunities for cost reduction are recognised and achieved.
• Take ownership of the commercial contract, ensuring full understanding of the content
• Manage contract changes and additions ensuring that we maintain commercially sound and consistent contract documentation, avoiding any ambiguities which might result in a dispute with the client.
• Ensures that implementations of changes on new initiatives are delivered on time and meet the client requirements by maintaining tight control of the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget.
• Ensure operational teams and subcontractors maintain a clear understanding of the client’s needs, and provides day to day client advice and support.
• Promotes our capabilities to clients, identifies sales opportunities
• Manage the delivery of the account plan over the lifetime of the contract. Work proactively with the client to identify opportunities, engage with solutions teams in the SAP Practice, or other practices as relevant. Achieve or exceed the account target for revenue achievement.
