With the recent opening of our customer service office in Birmingham, you’ll have every chance to carve out a rewarding role. Being involved in the early stages of the department’s development, your influence will have lasting effects on service definition and improvement of IT for the MPS.
The centre provides IT assistance for police services throughout the UK. As part of a busy ITIL-aligned helpdesk, you’ll be a first point of contact for customer queries – providing first-line analysis, diagnosis and solutions.
Previous experience in handling telephone enquiries, including knowledge of ITIL v.3 and service management tools would be a distinct advantage. But as long as you have proven communication skills, experience of supporting a Microsoft desktop and a team-oriented approach, we’d like to hear from you.
Please be aware that this role will require the successful candidate to undergo 'SC' level security clearance.
