Key responsibilities can include:
Copy typing, mainly letters, emails and proposals
Organising meetings (booking meeting rooms, arranging visitor passes, refreshments and equipment)
Liaising with clients over the phone and via e-mail
Extensive use of e-mail to communicate internally and externally
Organising travel arrangements (detailed itineraries and visas)
Expense and timesheet submission on behalf of Partners
Organising the occasional client event/conference (collating attendees list and printing name badges)
Production of high quality documents in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Answering the phone, taking accurate detailed messages and personally dealing with queries where possible
Photocopying and filing
Ad-hoc administrative duties
Covering for other EA in the group when absent
Typical key skills and experience required:
Advanced MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Fast and accurate touch typing (50 - 60 wpm)
Proficient in use of Outlook, including email, calendar and contacts
Must have an adaptable, keen and flexible approach including flexible hours
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work effectively under pressure
Professional telephone manner
Diplomatic, discreet, polite and patient
