We are looking for enthusiastic registered nurses to work in a developing area of the trust. The patient lounge is where patients move prior to there discharge, and await transportation to there destination, whether, home residential or other hospital environment. Medical day unit deals with a variety of patients who require investigation, procedures and medications which do not necessarily require an overnight stay.
The unit cares for a variety of inpatient and outpatient conditions, needed staff to have or be willing to undertake extended roles in Cannulation, phlebotomy, ECG etc.
We require staffs that are flexible, and able to work a variety of shifts to cover the unit through out the working day, you will be able to solve problems effectively and efficiently whilst balancing a busy patient based work load.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8 am until 10 pm with flexibility required to extend if the service requires. Part Time applications welcome.
