Senior Health Care Assistants £9.23 per hour plus enhancements for nights Full Time, Part Time, Bank hours Locations throughout North West Marie Curie Cancer Care provides free specialist support and care for all End of Life patients and their families.
We aim to give patients the best possible quality of life, meeting their medical, spiritual and social needs, while also providing their families with the emotional support they need.
The Senior Health Care Assistants will undertake a broad range of duties relating to the care of patients with palliative care needs as supervised by a registered nurse or will work within the care plan, written by the District Nurse or key worker, to provide skilled nursing care, treatment, advice and support to patients affected by cancer, and their carers.
You will have S/NVQ 3, or be willing to work towards S/NVQ 3 and also have experience of working within a community nursing setting.
Health Care Assistants will have to work both twilight 3.00pm to 10.00pm and night shifts 10.00pm to 7.00am on a rotational basis.
