Accenture are currently seeking a number of Sales Transformation resources to work in our teams that help clients transform their sales and supporting processes, organisations, strategies . The Sales
Transformation community forms one of the key components of our CRM Practice that operates across industry specific groups within Accenture. It is complimented by two other offering groups within Management Consulting; Service Transformation and Marketing Transformation.
Skills and experience:The following skills are expected of potential candidates:
Capable of building strong relationships and working well as part of a team
Proven capability in team management comprising both internal and client personnel
Responsibility for successful execution of project deliverables
Process analysis and design
Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, including engagement at the senior level
Analytical skills used to derive insight from complex and varied information sources and the ability to draw sound recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, and report writing
CRM consulting:
Our experts typically have deep knowledge in one and proficiency in several of the following fields:
Sales process design and related technologies (with a focus on business process)
Sales operating model / organization design
Sales productivity and effectiveness
Sales methodologies
Sales talent management and competencies
Field, telephone and retail sales
Indirect sales channels
Solution selling
Sales planning and sales force sizing
We want to hear from candidates with experience gained in CRM / Sales Transformation or in an industry role for a large organisation that can demonstrate a number of the skills listed below:
Understanding of different sales models (e.g. direct, indirect, hybrid)
Practical experience and understanding of the impact of sales channels (e.g. field, call center, retail, internet, kiosk) on the above sales models
Practical experience of sales processes (e.g. sales planning, account planning and management, opportunity planning and management, quotation and pricing, proposal generation, forecasting, incentive compensation planning and management, partner relationship management, sales competency management, sales learning and development)
Practical experience of channel management, managing customer acquisition and retention between direct, indirect and collaboratively across routes to market
Practical experience of change programmes in the sales domain, (e.g. sales force automation, forecasting, pricing, sales process and methodology implementation)
In this role, you will be expected to work seamlessly with our clients' own resources to ensure that the service transformation solution implemented will address their business requirements. Typically you will use your experience to:
Analyse existing client sales capabilities and organisation
Identify opportunities for improvement to existing sales transformation offerings and contribute to client proposals
Design best practice sales transformation principles and solutions (operating models, processes, systems)
Set-up and manage transformation programmes targeted to improve the client sales capability
Improve performance in sales models across a number of areas including technology, process, organisation and people
Conduct value and impact analysis of proposed changes to the clients sales environments
Assist with internal development of sales transformation best practice and assets
Qualifications
Education
Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent from reputable university
MBA desirable but not required
Others
Extensive travel may be required from time to time
Right to live and work in the UK
