Vacancy Description

The candidate will need to be versatile and will be expected to man reception, answer the phone, take messages, answer queries, interact with the general public(6 to 18 year olds) that will be coming into/leaving classes get involved in registration procedures.

Marketing input and social media will also be part of the role. As will data input be a subsequent part of the job.

You will also be involved in – Front of House duties, box office, stage management-Theatrical Productions.

ACT tutors are currently working at the National Theatre, the Lyric, the Globe, the RSC and the BBC. Similarly ACT graduates are to be found working on National and European tours, on BBC television and Radio, Independent Films, TIE tours and so on.

We run on a non-profit making basis so we can offer quality training at affordable rates.

Important Other Information

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices from 1st October 2013 is £2.68 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
