Our client is a well-established international company within the Media & Entertainment industry. They benefit from a very friendly and creative work environment and might offer a contract extension as well as some excellent career progression.
You will perform the full contract lifecycle for merchandise and publishing license agreements working with the category managers and Legal, to draft and negotiate license agreements (contracts) and amendments. In addition, you will manage the contract activation process, and performs value-added contract analyses : Deal Management: Track upcoming renewals, review contract requests for policy compliance and data accuracy, and oversee contract/amendment approval process. Manage non-accruable revenue (due to contracts/amendments not live). Partner with the Revenue Accounting team to ensure timely revenue recognition and issue resolution. Contract Drafting: Draft contracts, amendments, and other contractual documents (artwork release, distribution permission, sell-off, non-renewal, termination, consent to transfer, unlicensed sales); review specialized contract language with Legal Contract Negotiation and Activation: Review licensee comments, triage and resolve, collect documents, manage signature process, document distribution and filing Reporting: Participate in scheduled calls with Markets – Finance and Category, prepare written status reports (upcoming renewals, contract status) Perform ad-hoc requests, provide audit support, create value-added analyses (Licensee Scorecard), and participate in process and systems improvement projects and assisting with the translation of legal documentation.
Fluency in Turkish AND English (written and spoken)
University Law or Business degree (or equivalent)
Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
Established experience of working in a licensing or contract administration role within a Consumer Products or Retail environment
Working knowledge of Licensing contracts and enterprise systems i.e. contract management
Proven ability to build relationships with strong communication & problem-solving skills
Ability to work within a team and demonstrate flexibility in response to changes
