Job Title: Human Resources Officer / HR Officer Location: Near Grantham Salary: 20,000 - 26,000 (negotiable) Contract: 1 Year My client is a large manufacturing company looking for an experience HR Officer for a years contract. Overall Purpose To provide a supporting role to the HR Manager in respect of HR issues. To plan, manage, monitor and control all activities of the HR department at Grantham to ensure the right people are in the right jobs, ensuring harmonious employee relations and effective communication channels are maintained. Responsibilities and Duties Carry out recruitment and selection process and inductions for hourly paid staff and some salaried staff.

Support the Company’s appraisal system Assist in disciplinary/grievance and dismissal procedures. Monitor absence and participate in health and wellness activities for the employees. Actively participate in employee relations, liaise with shop stewards and line management. Provide day to day HR support to the staff and advise on the site’s Terms and Conditions, policies and legislation.

Ensure effective administrative support and maintenance of personnel records in co-operation with the administration office, producing reports as and when required Assist in HR related projects as and when they arise. Liaise with wages and pensions functions as appropriate.
