Our client are a Law Firm based in Newcastle. They are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team as a Customer Relationship Manager within the Family Department.
Main duties will include:-
To work in the Family Law Department.
To advise and assist clients or potential clients of the firm, acting at all times in accordance with the proper professional standards, and observing at all times the Professional Rules of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.
To have responsibility for such tasks as should be agreed between you and the Partners.
To ensure that at all times you have the necessary knowledge of the area or areas of law in which you are engaged.
Participate fully in any time recording system and to observe and apply fully any file management procedures as shall be in operation within the firm.
To participate in supervision sessions in respect of your work as and when reasonably required.
To carry out effectively and efficiently administrative tasks as requested.
To provide such advice, supervision and training to all staff as requested.
To liaise closely with other members of your department, the Partners, other fee-earners and all non-fee-earners.
To attend and participate in meetings within the firm as and when reasonably required.
An empathy for, and understanding of, the problems faced by our clients.
An ability to identify the problems and their attainable solutions.
An ability to think clearly and logically and to articulate your views.
An ability to work under pressure and to respond to crises.
An acceptance of the need to work flexibly during the working week as and when required.
An ability to work within a team and on your own initiative.
