The HSBCnet and Interactive Manager role works with global partners to define and implement global best practices and to be able to thrive within an evolving Department and play a central role in an area with a high level of focus from Executive Management in HSBC.
The role of the HSBCnet and Interactive Manager, located in London, is to be a major contributor to the delivery of the eCommerce strategy for Corporate and Commercial customers. The role demands a strong candidate with product and project management experience who can help shape the future of HSBCnet and associated eCommerce delivery channels and drive Digital Strategy. To fulfil this role, the job holder will need to display strong engagement with stakeholders in order to ensure the quality of the end product. The role holder will work on defined product deliveries within a team of product managers across the European region in order to deliver market leading products to satisfy the demands of the target customer base.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a team of like-minded and similarly skilled individuals, the job holder will report to Interactive Channels Senior Product Manager, and be responsible for the design, development, delivery and commercialisation of quality eCommerce products for the Corporate and Commercial customer segments
In order to deliver success in such products, the job holder must work closely with key stakeholders to ensure requirements fully meet the business needs and the needs of our customers as well as conforming to bank standards
The job holder will act as a business project manager on project teams across geographical borders, time zones and competencies ensuring delivery of products on time, on scope and on budget
The job holder will be required to communicate and articulate the requirements to development colleagues
The job holder will need utilize standard product and project management disciplines and methodologies.
This will include writing Business Cases and Initial Requirement for consumption by all relevant stakeholders
The job holder must ensure that the content and tools that are deployed are best in class especially in ease of use, quality of engagement, effectiveness, branded design and user experience.
The job holder must coordinate closely with Management in Payments & Cash Management and able to transcend regional and cultural differences in order to deliver a consistent and comprehensive multi-channel experience.
The job holder will be required to manage simultaneously a significant workload and a variety of product deliverables.
The job holder will be fully accountable for all aspects of deployment including Compliance, risk, fraud, security of data, training, communication, language, user interface etc. recognising that this will be used by customers in all markets and across multiple jurisdictions
The job holder must be able to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally and have highly developed presentation skills
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of PCM Product Suite
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. eCommerce and/or Product Management
Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. personalization, customization and online customer experience
A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
Experience of planning and prioritising their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently
Supported project teams/managers, showing an understanding of the basic principles of project management
The ability to understand and interpret straightforward financial data
