Floating Support Officer
- £9,790 – £10,737 per annum
18.5 hours per week
Six month fixed term contract
Southdown is looking to recruit a Floating Support Officer to join a small but busy team providing support across two contracts in Brighton and Hove. The Rough Sleepers Initiative supports clients to make the transition from Band 2 hostel accommodation to independent living, whilst the Mental Health Scheme supports clients with a range of mental health concerns to develop, or re-learn, the skills needed to live independently.
You will work within the Brighton and Hove area and in partnership with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be able to communicate effectively with vulnerable clients, will be confident working autonomously and managing a challenging and diverse workload. You will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work to deadlines, enjoy problem-solving and team work, and have good IT skills, particularly data input and record keeping.
