HR Representative/Human Resources Representative/HR Assistant, CIPD, Northamptonshire, Peoplesoft. An urgent requirement has arisen for a Human Resources Representative based in Northamptonshire on a long term contract. My client is looking for a Human Resources Representative with a minimum of 2-3 years previous experiences working in a similar position. You will have excellent communication/interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with sensitive and confidential issues, you must have the ability to deal with all levels of staff.

Job Details:
This position operates and advises as an integral member of the senior management team on site. The incumbent may serve as a company-wide resource on a highly specialised area or serve multiple units in a broader functional area and assist senior management in interpreting and using information provided. The position is a specialist within the group and provides interpretation and problem solving advice to others. This role requires the incumbent to manage and monitor the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) process. This entails training leaders of the business on the process that must be taken annually and throughout the year along with any systems training required. Managing the monthly monitoring meetings with the facility manager for each leader to ensure progress is made on their workgroup action plans. Quarterly management and monitoring of the salaried and management Performance Management Process (PMP) is an integral part of the role. Coaching leaders of the business in this process and training on the reporting system will be required. Monthly consensus meetings must be chaired and managed. Advise and tuition when it comes to managing individuals up is essential. Management of the hourly appraisal system and holding of consensus meetings to ensure equitable evaluation across all functional levels is made. Accountability of the HR elements of the Production System (CPS) lies with this role. A large part of this requires everyone in the facility to be trained in the applicable work related and health and safety modules with all training records kept up to date. Responsibility for ensuring the Company meets the requirements of TS16949 also lie with this position. The role requires the policies and procedures to be kept up-to-date on the QSI system and ensure they meet with both the client's policy and UK legislation. Ensuring the data for payroll is sent to the UK Service Centre on a monthly basis before the 5th of each month. This position is required to give advice and council to leaders on all employee relations matters such as disciplinary and grievance issues, processing starters and leavers, paternity and maternity, terms and conditions of employment, administration of pensions, retirements and redundancies, etc. Jointly represent the Company in the internal Liaison Committee meetings and manage this process. The role entails co-ordination with leaders and the Health and Safety Officer to ensure all required training is conducted and recorded appropriately. Administration responsibilities include ensuring the client's HR system, Peoplesoft, is kept up-to-date by the leaders of the business. The internal system, MFG Pro, must also be kept up to date. Monthly reports including headcount, Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP), absence management and CPS reports must be run and sent to the appropriate individuals. All administrative tasks associated with employee relations matters. Also pulling together the monthly slides for the All Employee Meetings (AEMs). There are two preferred suppliers for flexible workers which this position is responsible for managing and liaising with the two agency representatives.
