About The Role
Are you passionate about punctuation? A stickler for spelling? Mad about magazines? Future is home to some of the best-known brands in magazine and online publishing, and there's now an opportunity for you to sub-edit a whole range of fantastic titles through our in-house Editorial Production Studio.
You'll be responsible for sub-editing copy and rewriting where necessary, proofing and fitting magazine pages in InDesign, and sub-editing material for websites. You'll need to have demonstrable skills in sub-editing - both with raw copy and laid-out pages. A journalism qualification and/or equivalent experience of working in a magazine editorial environment is preferable. It is essential that you have an excellent command of the English language, alongside exceptional levels of spelling, grammar and a keen eye for detail.
If you have a passion for magazines and are keen to develop a career in sub-editing this could be the perfect role for you. What We Can Offer You
The opportunity to work at Future, an international special-interest media company creating over 180 publications, websites and events. A competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement, comprehensive training programmes and additional benefits, as well as the chance to work on a huge variety of content and develop your career in sub-editing.
