The role

Candidates will join a small, nimble team at a young company with extraordinary growth potential. As such, there is an opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities associated with an internet start-up.

Tasks will include the following:
Making sales calls to upgrade free listings to bookable entries

Handling negotiations and contracts

'Owning' the commercial relationship with suppliers and optimising their performance on

Dealing with after-sales enquiries from suppliers, including complaints

Assisting and training owners in updating campsite information on

Maximising accommodation allocation and best prices on

Editing campsite information

Liaising with marketing team on promotional activity

Planning and implementing sales strategy

Hours for the role may vary from week to week and can be flexible. Later, a permanent role may be offered to the right candidate. Some travel may be required.

The candidate

Candidates should be self-starters, extremely flexible as far as tasks are concerned, and able to prioritise based on company needs while meeting tight deadlines. The successful candidate will fulfil the following additional criteria:

Demonstrated sales and/or account management experience

A willingness to be a ‘jack-of-all-trades’ for the sake of being part of a forward-thinking start-up

At least two years' experience in a related field

Own laptop

Internet savvy

Ability to troubleshoot independently

A desire to take a big part in the establishment of as a modern, creative brand

General administrative skills, as well as experience within a customer-facing sector

Excellent communication skills and phone manner
