The School of Engineering and Informatics is investing for the future; a key element of that investment is in innovative people. To expand and strengthen further the areas of strategic importance to the School we are seeking to make additional permanent appointments in the Sensor Technology Research Centre. One of these is in advanced networks and communications and applicants for this position will have a strong research record in related areas. Expertise in wireless networks with practical experience in smart systems are particularly welcomed.

The successful applicant will be expected to join the Sensor Technology Research Centre within the Engineering Department; a world leading centre focusing on sensor technologies and wireless communications. They will be expected to teach primarily in the Department of Engineering and Design, delivering modules in areas such as advanced networks and embedded systems, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Applications should be accompanied by a full CV and statements of future research plans, and where applicants could contribute to teaching across the School.
