Job Description Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering provides ground engineering solutions in a range of sectors from infrastructure, education and healthcare to housing and commercial property for both internal and external clients. Previous and current projects include Arsenal Emirates Stadium, East London Line, M1 and King's Cross redevelopment. We now have two new positions for a skilled Piling Operative who works to the highest levels of safety and quality and has expereince in g round stabilisation or Piling. Requirements Basic experience of piling and ground stabilisation sites across the core technique.
Basic knowledge of the range of pilling rigs and equipment used in ground stabilisation or piled foundations NVQ2 and CPCS accreditation to operate with the range of plant and equipment in the driven Techniques. Should be fit & active and able to work outdoors in all weathers. Hardworking and enthusiastic Able to work alone or as part of a team Basic communicator Willing to learn and share knowledge Basic ability to cope with deadlines Relevant CPCS card Responsibilities Understands the technique involved with the use, inspection and storage of various slinging and lifting techniques. Is CPCS trained to work with plant associated with the role Demonstrate awareness of safety procedures in respect of self Demonstrate exemplary level of attendance & timekeeping Apply high standard of care of own equipment & materials Demonstrate above average quality & quantity of output Willing to work anywhere within the region/area unless excluded by exceptional circumstances
