Job Description:
A great opportunity exists for an HR Business Partner to join a dynamic team, open and collaborative in their approach. Reporting directly to the Head of HR for Retail Banking , the successful candidate will oversee an international client group of circa 15,000 staff. You will be required to provide high calibre and proactive HR services to the Senior Management of this global business area. In addition, you will be tasked with the strategic delivery and implementation of the people agenda, designed to improve both engagement and achievement across full client group globally. Collaborating with the specialist HR Teams (across Policy and Learning & Development in particular), you will also ensure that any HR initiatives are commercially sound, resulting in superior business effectiveness.
This exciting opportunity will require the post-holder to use their professional knowledge and understanding of the wider business strategy to consistently impact on business results positively. This is to include driving the effective and efficient deployment of a variety of HR products and services across the business. Through effective relationships and functional partnering, you will demonstrate a strategic approach across the organisation matrix. Some leadership coaching may also be required in order to improve the business capability at this most senior level.
Skill Set:
Applications are welcome from accomplished HR Professionals with a strong Business Partnering background in large, complex matrix organisations. You will preferably have worked in the Financial Services previously; Banking (and in particular Retail Banking ) would be ideal. You will have enjoyed great exposure to the full Generalist remit, to include: resourcing, employee relations, reward and performance management, demonstrating HR expertise in these fields. A strong team-player, you will also take a hands-on approach to your workload and client group. Excellent partnering and influencing skills are also required.
