Salary range: starting at £27,318 per annum.

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant to carry out research on the impact of colour on learning and educational performance in children. The post is to work on the first 8-month phase of a project funded by a commercial company involved in the design and renovation of schools. You will be primarily responsible for data collection in primary schools, the preliminary analysis of data and assisting with the preparation of reports.
The post will be based in the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex, working with Dr. Anna Franklin. You will also join and work alongside other members of the Sussex Colour Group and you will be expected to have occasional meetings with the commercial project team in Berkshire.
The post may be of interest to those wishing to pursue a career in educational psychology or in academic or commercial research.
