Our client based near Orpington are looking for a part time bookkeeper.
Main Responsibilities:
Carry out all day-to-day accounting functions using QuickBooks (including purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashbook postings, VAT returns)
Credit management (including cashflow forecasts, credit control and liaison with invoice finance company)
Maintain and run weekly payroll (Sage)
Prepare monthly management accounts/balance sheet and statutory quarterly/annual company reporting, working with senior accountant
Produce internal management information as required (including analysis of data and day-to-day advice)
Qualifications and Experience:
AAT, ICB qualified or suitably qualified by experience
Experience of small, owner-managed business environment
Experience of QuickBooks (or Sage) and Microsoft Office
Other Attributes:
Able to work independently and to deadlines, managing own workload
Commercially minded with strong professionalism and integrity
Team player able to work successfully with 2/3 other office staff
Flexible to work occasional additional hours to meet work requirements
Flexible to carry out other office tasks as required (eg. telephone orders)
Car owner/driver living within reasonable daily travelling distance of BR6
Terms and Conditions:
£12-14 per hour (weekly paid)
25 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9.00am-2.00pm)
28 days holiday pro-rata (including Bank Holidays)
