ROLE: FIRE ALARM SURVEYOR/ESTIMATOR & COORDINATOR
SALARY: 25'000 - 30'000
You will be responsible for the full coordination from site visit, quotation and installation/changes to fire alarm and emergency lighting projects. This role relies on the post holder being proficient in the design of these systems and having full knowledge of the British Standards and legislation surrounding this area. You will be able to promote the Company in a positive light at all times and be able to ensure the customer has full belief in our ability to deliver. You will work with local installation teams to ensure the projects are carried out to time and with the correct resources.
Responsibilities and Duties
Take enquiries from incoming calls/e-mails and from technicians/engineers where appropriate
Arrange to visit site where appropriate
Collate all information and prepare quotes either from visits or drawings (where applicable)
Follow up quotations - maximising on our ability to gain new customers/projects
Make up install packs for the installation teams including plans, instructions and relevant sign off forms
To arrange for their stock to be available and allocate a technician to the project/installation
Once installation is complete collate all documentation and arrange for invoicing and update drawings where appropriate.
To produce method statements and risk assessments where appropriate
To contact customers where appropriate to understand their needs
To keep good contact with key customers to ensure we maximise potential for the company
To engage fully with any appraisal/ feedback system the company has to offer
To be an integral part of the Project Team.
