Duties /Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):

Purpose of the role:

To increase sales and manage the wholesale channel in the distribution of the Lotus Originals collection and the F1 merchandising.

Primarily reporting to the Head of Retail Merchandising, but also to the Head of Product

Key responsibilities

Increasing sales in the Wholesale channel
Meeting sales targets
Promotion of the Lotus Originals collection
Pricing and margin definition (together with the Head of Product)
Screening of agents to increase sales in other countries
Screening of Store Franchisee
Sales to Lotus Dealers Network
Shop in shop project UK
Sales to Lotus Distributors and Importers
Coverage of the shop floor in Regent Street when needed

Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria):

Essential Criteria:

Degree in economics/marketing or equivalent
Previous related wholesale background (apparel, consumer goods, luxury retail, distributors and agents, possibly at international level)
Proven track record of sales/business development achievements
Knowledge and experience of new collection launches
Good general IT skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Stock controls systems
Self motivated, results driven, can-do attitude, adaptable and flexible Good communicator
Attention to detail

Desirable Criteria

Well networked with the ability to build contacts and increase sales

Other information:

Working environment: Regent Street Store office, London

Financial Responsibility: P&L of the wholesales channel - full responsibility for revenue and costs
Travel required: Frequent visits between Head Office in Norfolk and London. Also to Europe and around the UK for fashion and retail fairs.

Challenges: Opening of new accounts, prioritsation of the stock sales between existing accounts

You may also be required to carry out other reasonable additional duties/responsibilities as required by the business.
