Job Role - Commercial Manager – Retail & Catering Operator:
Ensure both commercial, procurement and operational teams are working to aligned common goals
Ensure ranges are communicated to sectors
Share market and consumer intelligence for specific categories
Advise of compliance numbers and actions to improve
Facilitate link between local consumer insights, central marketing & operations
Provide key opportunity areas for increasing margin
Management of personal overheads
Shared responsibility for sector overheads
Commercial and sector team coaching
A ctively contributing to business talent and performance management
Previous/Similar experience in a similar role within a large business
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Perceptive leader with a real passion for building a strong team
Financial awareness in order to develop the business using problem solving skills
Operational and commercially astute
High verbal and numeracy skills
Adaptable and ability to operate at all levels
Balance of strategic and tactical thinking
Boardroom presence
