Libraries and Learning Resources (LLR) is a central academic service which provides support to all students and staff carrying out teaching, learning and research across all schools within Nottingham Trent University. We are looking for people who are interested in supporting a team which provides a front-line service to customers of Brackenhurst Library and Resource Rooms at the Brackenhurst Campus.
With frontline customer facing work experience and a good working knowledge of commonly used IT applications, you will provide an in-person, telephone and online enquiry and support service. You will also participate in a range of administrative tasks, including shelving, which support the day-to-day running of LLR. A flexible approach to working is essential within this busy team.
Confident in dealing with a wide range of people, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a commitment to developing and delivering gold standard customer service.
There are no fixed hours and schedules of work will vary, depending on business needs. The successful candidates would be expected to be available to work at short notice.
NTU is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. This role involves working with children and vulnerable adults and the selection process for this post will include an Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check.
