A leading company based within Minworth is looking to recruit an experienced Administration supervisor that ideally has experience of dealing with a warehouse function. The position will be working on a fixed term basis at this stage to cover a maternity contract with a possibility that the position may become permanent for the ideal person.

Job Description is as follows but not limited to:
Managing the Admin and Inventory Control function of the warehouse, the successful candidate will report directly to the warehouse manager and will manage a team of seven warehouse operatives (including two administrators and one function operative).

Responsible for maintaining KPI's

Preparing and submitting various reports

Implementing and maintaining the warehouse training programme

Working closely with three other team leaders from Goods In, Despatch and Returns

Taking on health and safety and quality responsibilities

Day to day admin duties

Be the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints

Raising purchase orders

Ordering and issuing uniform

Completing payroll for 60 employees

Managing the admin process of new starters and temps

Minute taking at meetings

Maintaining personnel records

Any other tasks as required by the warehouse or contracts manager

The applicants must have had previous supervisor experience either in a admin or warehouse role. An excellent telephone manor and high levels written English are essential, as is knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in payroll and purchasing would be beneficial.

The client is offering a salary of £15,000pa and the position will be to cover a maternity post at this stage but there is a view that the position may become permanent
