The job holder will be responsible for managing the application design and support function for a combined suite of applications that are used to support BNYM's Transfer Agency business.
Specific responsibilities will include;
Responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of all system designs produce as part of a wider project delivery function.
Implementation of a standard design methodology across all applications ensuring delivery of high quality designs
Responsibility for level 3 support including:
contributing to problem management through application SMEs
resolution of all application defects
maintenance of business continuity plans
management of vendors
provision of weekly support MI around o/s tickets, resolution rate etc
Input into financials for the support function
Point of escalation for both the Business and IT functions
Qualifications
The successful candidate
must have extensive experience
within technology and have:
A broad knowledge of technology platforms (both Mainframe and Distributed platforms are used within this suite of applications)
Expert knowledge and experience of systems support processes
Significant system design experience
Experience of managing technical teams from both a application support and task management perspective
Strong understanding of managing both technology and operational stakeholders
