Are you a clear and calm communicator who is able to work well in a team?
Can you help us to help signpost and provide information and advice to children, young people and families on a range of issues including: childcare, support for families, health, special educational needs and disability and much more?
We are looking for a dedicated individual with previous experience supporting children, young people or adults to join the Information for Families Team. You will directly support families with their queries by phone, email and face to face. You will also update information about services and support on our databases and websites.
We will support you to develop your knowledge of services and related law and guidance. We will also help you to develop your skills in giving impartial advice.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Full-time
Fixed term for: 12 months

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
