We are looking for a suitably qualified Nurse to join our busy department. Interventional Radiology experience would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given.
You will be joining an enthusiastic and dedicated team of professionals, committed to pushing back the frontiers of interventional radiology in pursuit of excellence in patient care.
You will be involved in cross site working and in addition to general nursing duties, you will assist radiographers and consultant radiologists in the many and varied radiological procedures, the success of which are dependent upon the knowledge and assistance of a highly skilled nurse. Such procedures include interventional techniques such as insertion of stents and filters, thrombolysis and Ultrasound/CT guided biopsies. You will be required to participate in out of hours on- call services.
