Deutsche Asset Management is comprised of four primary investment areas, and is part of Deutsche Bank’s new Asset & Wealth Management business, following combination with the bank’s Private Wealth Management group, its private banking operation.

The hedge fund team in London is responsible for the hedge funds business at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. With over eleven years of history, it’s one of the largest and longest standing hedge fund platforms, currently managing over $11 bn in assets.
The London team works with sales and hedge fund investors (institutional and private) globally across Europe, Americas and Asia including Japan to build products and customised solutions. The team also has a global responsibility for selecting new hedge fund managers, negotiating business and legal terms and maintaining ongoing relationships with managers.
The platform has won numerous awards over the years, including the Best overall investment platform for the second consecutive year in 2011.
The role will be primarily assisting the team members in developing new products, preparing client pitches and executing transactions. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and understand different hedge fund strategies and develop expertise in the alternatives asset class. It will also provide strong global exposure to many of the world leading asset managers and institutional clients through Deutsche Bank sales force.
- Experience working with hedge funds or asset/investment/fund management businesses
- Knowledge of the hedge fund business/industry is preferred
