The London Dungeon is now recruiting for Seasonal Retail Sales Assistants to join their busy, hard-working and exciting Commercial Team for the peak Summer period between Friday 12th July to Saturday 12th September. We're looking for people with a flair for the theatrical, a love of entertainment and, of course, a wicked sense of fun.
About the role:
The purpose of the retail assistant is to provide a friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful service to the public at all times. To actively maximise visitor spends throughout the year to meet budgeted targets through product knowledge and effective up selling. To ensure all areas are well stocked and point of sale areas are ready for the attraction opening and that they are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy manner throughout the day. To show initiative and pro actively assist colleagues whenever needed.
This is a zero hour, seasonal contract to cover the peak season of Summer 2013 between Friday 12th July to Saturday 7th September . You will work 30+ hours per week, up to 5 days out of 7 (to include weekends and bank holidays as required).
The operation of the business is the key to The Dungeons success and the retail department is key to this success. To be a successful retail assistant at The London Dungeon you need to:
Be proactive, pleasant and approachable at all times when dealing with the public in order to help drive sales and revenue.
Assist customers and help them with their purchase and to communicate promotional lines and offers.
Serve both internal and external customers with the same enthusiasm, respect and courtesy.
Be passionate and excited by your role and understand how it fits in with the business’s objectives and values.
Be actively part of the retail/commercial team and to contribute your ideas.
