A truly outstanding opportunity has arisen for a specialist in construction law and commercial litigation to join a highly regarded in-house legal team in the Midlands area. Covering a period of maternity leave, this role is anticipated to last for 9 - 10 months initially, with the possibility of a longer term role for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be handling a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious construction matters alongside some more general commercial litigation cases. Typically, the workload will include matters varying from £100 to £100m in value and provides the post-holder with a unique opportunity to handle an exciting and challenging workload working within a market leading organisation.

You will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 6 years PQE. Your previous experience will include drafting and reviewing construction contracts, including NEC, Fidic and other standard industry contracts, and you will also be a talented litigator with a good understanding of all methods of dispute resolution. You will be a pro-active and committed individual with a positive working attitude and the ability to work well within a team. This role is open to candidates wishing to work on a full-time or part-time basis.
