This is your opportunity to join Deloitte's growing Analytic & Forensic Technology team. The Forensic team is a national practice dealing with a huge variety of global fraud, corruption and regulatory investigations. As the technical expert you will work alongside our forensic investigation teams on a variety of projects. No project is the same. You will be required to work closely with the team to understand their needs and to then collect and process the data, presenting it for their review in the agreed format. This role will allow you to combine your technical expertise in network scoping, data collection and data processing with your problem solving ability and methodical approach to find meaningful solutions for clients. You are likely to be working on multiple projects and have to manage your own and your team's time accordingly. As an assistant manager you should be familiar with the entire process of collecting and analysing electronically stored data for the purpose of investigations. You must have proven experience of providing support to teams during investigations. An advantage would be to have the Encase Certified Examiner qualification and an example of giving evidence in Court would be useful. You should have a working knowledge of evidence handling procedures. Key skills and responsibilities:
Strong data processing skills in electronic disclosure environments
Strong computer forensic analysis skills
Skills in the administration of document review platforms
Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage small projects
An ability to build relationships and liaise with clients
Flexibility on working hours and a willingness to work on projects abroad Required technical skills:
Commercial experience in electronic evidence collection and processing
Proven experience in computer forensic analysis, EnCE preferred
Scripting skills in an number of languages (VB, C#, ASP.Net)
Understanding of evidence handling procedures Desirable technical skills:
Masters degree in a field with emphasis on computer security or investigations
Familiarity with IDOL
Exposure to a wide variety of IT investigation solutions
Experience of working with a structured Project Management methodology such as PRINCE2
Systems administration experience, preferably with an [MCSE qualification]
Email Administration experience, preferably with an [MCSE qualification]
Document management technologies i.e. Sharepoint
Backup and archiving technologies
SAN/NAS technologies
