The Financial Analyst - Projects & Reporting will work as part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
The successful candidate will be required to assist with the definition of systems solutions to complex financial problems within a dynamic environment. This will require working with financial and non-financial stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, create process maps and implement system driven process improvements within agreed timelines.
In addition this role will be responsible for the smooth running of all central financial reporting to ensure that reports are produced accurately & within strict timelines whilst driving consistent processes & reporting measures across the region.
Work with key stakeholders and/or project managers to gather and analyze the requirements for reports and report opportunities to improve financial processes.
Gather a broad knowledge of internal systems/reports already in place, and determine new opportunities for improvement.
Communicate and translate requirements and opportunities effectively between business process areas and supporting departments.
Ensure integrity of reporting and enhance automation of reporting process to deliver in a
Update the EMEA and Global reports, consisting of key KPI's of carriers, on an
accurate and timely basis
Produce any Global reports, that EMEA is responsible for and communicate to Global team
Consolidate the handhelds and revenue forecast and prepare EMEA Forecast Review Template on demand.
Prepare all Forecast files/notes and ensure commentary is consistent with numbers.
Prepare, update and check the regional Dashboards before distribution.
Maintain all EMEA central reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.
Document all reporting processes to prevent single point of failure.
Other Ad-hoc tasks as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience of the design and implementation of automated systems solutions to complex financial problems within a Blue chip environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create original business process improvement concepts
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentation) and ability to work across multi functional teams at all levels of management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2007 (advance Excel and access) & Cognos
Experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
University degree required ideally within Business & Finance or Accounting
