Our client is looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper to join their small team. The ideal candidate will have worked for a small, owner managed company for at least 3 years to deal with the day to day accounting function for this
3 million turnover company. You will need to be AAT, ICB qualified or suitably qualified by experience and you will have knowledge of SAGE or QuickBooks. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 9-2 or 10-3 and have your own transport due to the clients location.
You will be able to carryout day to day accounting functions such as maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, cashbook postings and VAT returns along with credit management such as cashflow forecasts, credit control and liaison with invoice finance company. Run weekly payroll using Sage, prepare monthly reports/balance sheets and statutory quarterly/annual reporting. Produce internal management information including analysis of data and day to day advice to management.
You also will need to work independently, to deadlines, managing own workload.
