We're looking for a retail management professional to take an intense six-month Personnel Management module before taking up a senior store management role with a multiple Employer of the Year Award winner.

Here at Morrisons we are passionate about food. We don't just buy it, we make it too. We are the UK's second largest fresh food producer, able to get our products from field to fork faster, fresher and cheaper for our customers. But it's not just behind the scenes, our in store 'Market Street' is packed with real craft Butchers, Bakers, Fishmongers and Cheesemongers, making and preparing products just like our customers like them.

Already over 500 stores strong, we are growing our offering with the expansion of our convenience stores - Morrisons M Local, the launch of our .com food shopping site and the roll out of our fresh format stores across the network where the fresh 'Market Street' produce is made the star of the show.

This is a unique role for a great relationship builder who can bring out the best in people so that they consistently strive to exceed customer expectations. You'll be fully responsible for Colleague recruitment and the store's wage budget plus, of course, supervision of all Personnel activities and administration. It's anything but a backroom HR job. The shop floor will be your office and you'll be working hands-on to help people make the most of their potential and to improve the store.

Unafraid of challenge, you'll understand how a busy supermarket runs, helping you to promote change, as well as giving you the skills to duty manage as and when required.

On the intensive course you'll be expected to learn fast, so to progress at our speed you must already have sound experience of food retail management plus basic knowledge of employment law and health & safety.
