Amazon is currently looking for an experienced and professional Production Assistant to join our UK Operations team. Reporting to the Area Manager you will play a critical role in the overall support to the FC in Rugeley.

AT Server
Processing Associate Holiday and Flexi requests using AT Server and recording in team diary/database.
Responding to ad-hoc requests for holiday & flexi balances
Clearing flags, updating schedules
Booking in hospital and maternity appointments
Handling AT server queries and Seasonal Associate holiday bookings from Agency Representatives

Daily Time on Task
Monitoring and assigning and clearing Time on Task
Coaching Associates to eliminate Time on Task and CALM code errors

Daily Return to Work
Completing and submitting the relevant documentation for Return to Work interviews, using the Attendance Database (NB The AM is still responsible for holding the RTW meeting with the Associate) Providing signed hard copies to AM/OM for approval
Using the Associate Update Service to brief returners to work on important briefings they have missed due to absence.

Performance Console Task
Recording feedback given to Associates (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Conduct) onto the Performance Console
Recording regular feedback that has been delivered by Area Managers for example weekly quality and productivity feedback
Daily
HR Administration
Dealing with Associate pay queries
Booking HR Clinic Appointments
Handling holiday queries, requesting breakdowns from payroll department
Processing Extended Leave requests, handling travel documents and liaising with the payroll team
Collecting and delivering confidential paperwork to HR Assistants
Daily QA Feedback
Escalating Critical Errors to Area Managers for counselling or disciplinary action
Identifying trends or patterns and escalating these to Area Managers for action
Identifying knowledge gaps and re-training requirements and escalating these to Area Managers for action
Daily 5S Audit
Assist Area Managers in completing 5S Audits
Input audit findings onto the Global Safety Database and create action points
Print and display audit results in the zone audited
Weekly FSI Audit
Conduct FSI audits with a team member from the process path
Deliver timely feedback
Input audit findings onto the Global Safety Database in a timely manner
Display audit results in the zone audited

Weekly
Managerial Support
Collating details of late arrivals and root causes for submission to Operations Managers in the event of RTA and traffic incidents
Ordering stationery items from Stores

Basic Qualifications

Strong analytical ability and in-depth understanding of distribution center processes
Excellent attention to detail
Very strong communication skills verbal and by e-mail.
IT qualification desirable
Excellent knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Access.
Good understanding of Amazon systems
Must be willing to work flexible schedules and shifts, including unsocial hours (11pm – 7am) at peak times.
Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
Ability to use own initiative and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for quality.
