Thales Learning & Development is a highly successful training services company based in Crawley. We help companies to develop advantage through learning and development and are highly trusted by leading enterprises.

We are now seeking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract which will act as the initial point of contact and face of Thales Learning & Development wi thin a customer services capacity to providing robust administration support between the training centre and the end customer and focus on building relationships with key contacts, line managers and delegates.

You will also work with the Training Consultants to compile the annual training plan for the Thales Business by supporting the Account Managers to determine the individual training needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and forward thinking individual to prove their abilities in a service environment and will allow you to develop robust and sustainable relationships across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks for the Customer Service Advisor :
  • Research and advise appropriate solutions to customer requests on training services available
  • Accurately record and make bookings within internal systems and check invoicing data
  • Liaise with HR, line managers, Key Account Managers to communicate customer training requirements and support the administration and logistics in the delivery of these courses
  • Administer learning events for your customers to the SLA and agreed KPIs
  • Accurately record attendance of all programmes and keep copies of certificates as required
  • Attend monthly and quarterly meetings as required with the key HR contact/L&D Manager for your customers, to discuss the progress of the training bookings and activities ongoing ie course queries etc
  • Update training plan data for monthly reports and KPIs as defined on the SLA
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure training plans are kept up to date
  • Book training rooms and catering services as required for closed events
  • Prepare, check, distribute and record client certificates for certified events
Skills, experience & qualifications required:

Essential
  • First class customer service/problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across various platforms
  • Accurate data entry and use of databases for booking and recording training
  • Excellent organisational, planning and administration skills
  • Good IT skills for data entry and Excel manipulation
  • Administration experience ideally within a fast paced customer service environment
Desirable
  • Excellent use of excel including pivot tables
  • Experience of working in a Learning and Development environment
  • Call centre experience or working within a shared service function
  • Understanding or prior experience of training project scheduling
