Deloitte is developinmg its Product Development practice in the UK and is looking for a Senior Manager to lead and develop it, under the sponsorship of one of our Supply Chain partners. Globally, Deloitte has a leading Product Development consulting practice and this is a unique opportunity to develop, shape and grow a practice from the current small team.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and build on your technical capabilities. You'll work on complex, high-profile projects across a range of clients within a range of industries.
The role involves:
Development of marketing collateral and proposition material (eg Points of View)
Business development activities: pipeline development, bid preparation etc
Leading, or providing subject matter input into, our product development engagements
Managing relationships with key client stakeholders
Development of the team
Managing relationships with the major PLM vendors
To qualify, you'll have:
Business development experience of selling consulting services with a demonstrable track record
7 - 10 years consulting experience
Working knowledge of main PLM vendor applications, gained through implementation experience. Specifically PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile and Siemens PLM.
Knowledge and experience of best practice in the following areas:
Product Data Management including BoM, Product Change Control
Product Development Processes Development (eg stage-gate)
Governance, resource management, product development organisation design
Experience in the following industries are of specific interest (but will look at others too):
A&D
General manufacturing
CPG
Food & Beverage
Experience of managing relationships with senior clients (typically project sponsor level)
Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or science based subject
This position will involved extensive travel therefore flexibility with travel is essential
Salary: Market Rate
