Do you want to work for one of the biggest Studios in the industry who are revolutionizing interactive TV.

As the studios Video Editor / VFX Artist you’ll be responsible for the Studios internal video output and will also have a vital role in directing the external companies they partner with. You will be a key creative influence in the incubation projects the studio is undertaking as well as providing expert technical knowledge of the video pipeline.

This studio is proud of its ability to turn never-been-done-before concepts into reality under extremely tight deadlines and pressure. As a key part of this team you’ll be expected to be able to think creatively on your feet and offer solutions to the daily problems of development in this demanding new field of entertainment.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a breadth of skills and display a keen interest applying knowledge of the editing world to projects. The Video Editor / VFX Artist will be adept at rapid problem solving and able to set an extremely high visual bar.
As a member of the creative content team you will be expected to show advanced communication skills and an ability to add creative value to any project they work on.

Essential Experience

• 6+ years post production work
• Showreel required
• Clear understanding of the editing process, timing, FX generation, composition structure, Matte work & Video project management
• Expert knowledge of Premier and After Effects (CS4 +)
• Working knowledge of Nuke and Avid products.
• Should have experience liaising with other departments to source materials (Video and Motion Graphics)
• Demonstrable understanding of the fundamental aspects of film editing.
• The candidate must have practical experience of Visual Effect creation and implementation
• Should have an expert understanding of Video file types and codecs. With practical experience of exporting video to various formats including Broadcast, DVD & Web. (Using Premiere & Microsoft Expression Encoder)

Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience of working on set
• Green screen experience shooting and post processing experience

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent communications & collaboration skills
• Passion for TV and film entertainment
