When you join Barclays as a Social Media Manager, you'll be part of a key area of business development for one of the UK's top 100 social brands. You'll be at the heart of the decision-making process around big, socially-led campaigns, shaping the editorial strategy of the lead social channel within our global business. It's a one-of-a-kind opportunity to find new ways to engage with a quarter of a million users.
What you'll give our customers as a Social Media Manager
You'll manage the overall content plan for Social Media communication, identifying ways we can use social media channels to better position our business, brand and propositions. To do that, you'll need to work closely with the rest of marketing to make sure social channels are factored into the overall marketing channel mix and identify new opportunities to use social channels for specific campaigns, products and propositions.

What you'll need as a Social Media Manager
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need a background in social media, branding and performance management, plus solid communication and negotiating skills. An appreciation of regulatory compliance is vital, and we'll need to see broad marketing skills with an emphasis on social channels.
