An exciting, innovative and unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to work in the role of Macmillan Breast Care Staff Nurse. This post is based at the Park Centre for Breast Care over an initial two year period.

You will provide support, care and assessment of patients’ unmet needs, triage and co-ordination throughout the breast cancer pathway and in particular at the end of treatment and upon discharge from secondary care follow up. You will work alongside the Macmillan Breast Care Nurse Specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team.

You should be dedicated to delivering high quality and efficient patient care and be able to be proactive in identifying care needs as well as experienced in communicating with professionals throughout the health and social care system. You should be able to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative within your competence level but also be willing to accept guidance and direction from other team members.
