We are looking to appoint someone to provide leadership and strategic direction to all of our ticketing functions. This role will involve initiating plans and methods to increase revenue generated through ticket sales to meet and exceed budgeted income. Through effective people management, the successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the Ticketing Department provides excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have experience in working in a similar venue, have knowledge of ticketing systems, have ticketing expertise and have the ability to lead, manage and develop others to enable you to deal effectively with customer and staff issues. You should have strong experience of managing profit and loss responsibilities, be customer driven and have the ability to develop and implement business plans.
The role in addition to the normal ticketing responsibilities will encompass the management of a pro-active sales team, a group ticket sales team and a dynamic ticket pricing system.
You should be flexible and adaptable in your appraoch to work, be tenacious, hard working and reliable. Sound commercial acumen will be essential for this role with the ability to innovate a key factor. In addition to this you will be a confident communicator with excellent organisation and problem solving skills.
