We are looking for a Band 5 nurse to join our team.
If you would like a change in direction, or to further your career in this exciting area of nursing, our in house training and development programme will equip you with the skills you need in HIV and sexual health. Based at St Marys hospital, providing HIV care of the highest quality to over 2,800 patients, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has one of the largest and most innovative units of its kind in the UK.
Nurses play a central role in the delivery of patient care in our HIV outpatient day ward and this role is continuously developing in order to meet the changing care needs of the patients. The post holder will also have the opportunity to develop skills in sexual as the role involves working across the Jefferiss Wing which provides a range of sexual health services, and has the largest sexual health walk- in clinic in London.
We require an enthusiastic nurse with:
One year post registration experience
Ambition to develop professional, clinical & research skills
Ability to manage difficult situations & use own initiative.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Non-judgmental & empathetic attitude
