Late Shift Maintenance Engineer
To promote all aspects of Lean Manufacturing within the department.
To ensure that the Department is clean and tidy, and working with all aspects of 5’ s principles.
To ensure Department disciplines and procedures are maintained.
To keep machine downtime to a minimum.
Responsible for safe working practice and electrical/mechanical isolations, « lock out» , and ‘ permit to work’ procedures.
Repair and breakdown response to mechanical and electrical failures of plant, machinery, equipment and utility services.
Routine servicing, testing and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to key plant, machinery and equipment, operating a monthly check of all machines operating PPM feeding back information to production staff when required.
Oversee and conduct where competent to do so legally required testing/servicing to Compressors, Sprinkler System, Fire Alarms, Forklifts and Boilers/Heaters
Installation of new plant, machinery, equipment and utility services.
16.00 to 01.00 Monday to Thursday
15.00 to 20.00 Friday
Will have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing enviroment.
A salary c £26,000 p.a.
