My client a successful firm of Chartered Accountants with offices throughout the Southwest currently seek to recruit a Part Time Accountant to join their team.
This role will be based between both the Cheddar office and the Bridgewater office.
Applicants will be required for between 1 and 3 days per week depending on work load, (my client is willing to be flexible to people who may wish to spread the work out and work half days).
Applicants must be a fully qualified experienced accountant who has successfully provided services to Sole Traders, Ltd Companies, Partnerships and it would be advantageous to have good knowledge of - Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax.
Duties :
? To prepare sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts.
? Company accounts to be submitted on-line to Companies House
? Prepare CT600, submissions on-line to HMRC
? Prepare personal and corporate taxation computations.
? Prepare quarterly client VAT returns.
? Deal with client and HMRC queries.
? Meet with clients to sign off accounts.
? Have a good knowledge of i.e.
capital gains tax, inheritance tax
? Be knowledgeable about current regulations / legislation
? Run monthly client payroll and year end.
? Open and close practice office as required in addition to covering holidays / sickness.
Applicants must have previous experience working for a firm of Chartered Accountants and be willing to be flexible.
In return you will be offered an excellent rate of pay.
This role will pay between £10-12 per hour.
